Lecturer in Classics & Religious Studies

Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a one-year lecturer in Classics and Religious Studies for the 2016-2017 academic year. Successful candidates must have a PhD in hand by July 1, 2016 and must be prepared to teach courses in Greek (Classical and Koine) at all undergraduate levels; Classics courses in translation, including Magicians, Healers, and Holy Men; and courses in Religious Studies at all undergraduate levels, including Introduction to the New Testament. Duties will include teaching three courses per semester and some service to the Department of Classics and the Program in Religious Studies. Applicants should submit a cover letter and a curriculum vitae including the names and addresses of three references.
