The department of Church History and the History of Christian Thought at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL) seeks to appoint a tenure-track, assistant professor in ancient Christianity/Patristics beginning in August 2017. A Ph.D. in ancient Christianity or Patristics is required. Applicants should be prepared to teach both survey and upper-division courses in church history at the master’s and doctoral levels, as well as one course per semester at the undergraduate level at Trinity College. Standard teaching load is 3/3. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential in teaching, research, and publication.
